Camberley and Farnborough Hockey Club- 2008 - 09 Season
Club Day - Sunday 7th September 2008
This will be held on 7th September 2008 at Kings international school Colts from 10.00am until 12.00pm Seniors from 12.00 until 4.00. Training, Matches, with Bar-B-Q and refreshments, running most of the day. There will be kit and equipment for sale
Training commences this Wednesday, 27th August 2008. Despite our best efforts the committee have been unable to secure the services of a coach in time for the start of the new season. However, Tim and Jacqui will be devising a comprehensive structure for the first few weeks and our search is ongoing. We'd encourage all to come to training whenever they can for the first few weeks so we can gauge interest and plan the subsequent sessions based on the turnout.

The Club
We
run 5 men’s sides, 3 ladies sides and a mixed
side during the normal hockey season and we also run various summer hockey
sides through out the summer. We welcome players of all levels, along with
coaches, keeper and umpires to join our competit
ive but sociable club.
Our Men’s 1st team play in the Surrey League Division 1, with a further 3 sides in various Surrey and Hampshire leagues. We run an Owls side who are mainly on the older side who play hard on the pitch and just as hard in the bar!!
Our Ladies 1st play in Surrey Ladies League Premier Division with 2 other sides in other Surrey Leagues 5 and 8
Camberley and Farnborough Hockey club play their hockey at their Astro turf pitch based at Kings International School, Camberley, with the club house just up the road at Camberley Cricket Club.
Training sessions are held at our
Astro turf on a Wednesday nights for both men’s and ladies.
6.30 until 9.30 coaching session to be advised
Colts We also run colt’s side’s with ages ranging from 6 through to 18 and will always welcome anybody that would like to have a go, we have equipment you can borrow.
Training is on Sunday morning at our Astro turf between 10.00 am and 11.30 am. We will also be running a Colts academy on wednesday night 5.00 until 6.30
