Camberley and Farnborough Hockey Club is a vibrant community club with around 300 members taking part as Adult, Junior, Veterans and Back to Hockey players, as well as non-playing members helping with coordination and management.

The club, originally just Camberley Hockey Club, was formed back in the 1950’s, and played home games at London Road, Camberley. Various incarnations of the club evolved through the next four decades, in a number of locations around Camberley, including Owlsmoor, Frogmore and Camberley Cricket Club.

In 2002, Camberley merged with local rivals Farnborough Hockey Club and took on an extra two men’s and one ladies’ team.
From 2003/2004, the club has run five men’s teams and three ladies’ teams, playing across Surrey, Hants and the South West London area.

The club is well known for its thriving Junior section, with teams from Under 8s to Under 18s, with a devoted army of coaches and managers.  The club benefits from the Junior section providing a constant supply of up and coming players, with many adult members playing today currently having started their hockey career with the Juniors.

Currently, the Club has four Men’s league teams (competing in the Surrey & Hampshire leagues), three Ladies’ league teams & one veterans’ side (The Owls). We use the state-of-the-art new ‘TigerTurf’ all-weather pitch at Kings International College, Camberley and use the facilities at Camberley Cricket Club for post-match refreshments and social events.

One of the main highlights of the season is the annual Dinner Dance, where the seasons achievements are celebrated.  Held at various local locations it sees a huge turnout for the club.
