Camberley and Farnborough Hockey Club celebrated another successful season with their Dinner and Dance held at Camberley Cricket Club.

The event was a massive success with record numbers attending the end of season event, which including a three-course meal and and individual player and club-wide awards for contribution to the club handed out.

“The event proved to be a massive hit with everyone who attended, “said Social Secretary Emily Gomes, who – along with Lucy Gomes – arranged the event. “Everyone enjoyed a three-course meal and the after-awards disco was fab. Massive thanks go to the cricket club for hosting us and to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable night.

“Lucy and I would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped, including Leo for designing tickets and posters, Pies for publicising the event, Ali for sorting the decorations and the team of helpers who helped to set up on the day.

“This year was also a record turnout for the Dinner and Dance, with 104 people attending! So here’s to a bigger and better night next season!”
