Junior Section Introduction

The Junior Section is an active part of Camberley and Farnborough Hockey Club and we run eight junior teams. Starting with our Minis which is Under 6's and Under 8's, we offer mixed boys and girls groups with a focus on fun. We also run separate girls' and boys' squads at Under 12's, 14's and 16's levels. We are always looking for new members at all ages and all abilities, so come along and see what it's all about!

Training takes place every Sunday morning between 9.30 am and 1.15 pm at Camberley and Farnborough's Astro pitch at Kings International School, Watchetts Drive, Camberley, GU15 2PQ. Click here for a Map

As the season progresses we offer tournaments, festivals (for the youngest ages) and competitive matches (for the older juniors) to give the kids a chance to put their developing skills into practice against friendly local clubs.

Coaching Times

Sunday Mornings:

Under 6's, Under 8's, Under 10's & U12s - 9.30am till 10.45am

Junior Goalkeeper Training - 9.30am - 10.45am

Under 14 and Under 16 Boys and Girls - 10.45am till 12.00pm

General Information

We start coaching our juniors from 4 years old upwards. All our teams, Minis (Under 6's, 8's and 10's), Under 12's, 14's and 16's train and play their home matches on Sundays - at Kings International College.

Our older juniors are encouraged to 'play up' in senior matches on Saturdays, and join in the adult training sessions. Over 13's can train on Tuesdays with ladies (7pm to 8.30pm) and Wednesdays with the mens (8pm to 9.30pm).

The Hub

A great addition to the club in the last couple of years - not only a great coaching resource, but has now become famous for its Sunday morning bacon rolls and coffee, thanks to dedicated parents.

Juniors' Membership Fees for the 2025-26 season

Under 10's: £100

Under 12's and above: £115

This includes all training and match fees for Junior matches from September through to April. If you have two or more juniors in your family there will be a reduced fee for each additional child.

We do have bursaries available to help with the cost of equipment. Please talk to us if you think this is something that may help you participate. We want to help!

If you are new and thinking of coming down to join in, do contact the Junior Chair or Junior Secretary who will be keen to welcome you - they will make sure there is training on that day, as we sometimes have matches and times can change.
